Chris Ledlum was a key player in the transfer portal after beginning his career at Harvard. Now, the 6-foot-6 forward is on his way to the SEC.

Wednesday evening, Ledlum revealed a commitment to Tennessee and head coach Rick Barnes. The Vols beat out competition from Indiana and St. John’s for Ledlum’s commitment.

Ledlum played a starring role for Harvard last season, starting 27 games and leading the team in scoring (18.8 points), rebounds (8.5) and steals (1.8) per game. He was a first-team All-Ivy League selection for his efforts.

Ledlum has appeared in 70 career games with 41 starts for Harvard while averaging 13.6 points per game. He is a career 52% shooter from inside the arc but struggles from 3-point range at 29%.

Even with his limitations from deep, Ledlum should be a key piece and key defender for the Vols heading into the 2023-24 season.
