Chris Moore smacks inside-the-park home run for Tennessee against Oklahoma
Chris Moore and the Tennessee Volunteers are putting a beatdown on Oklahoma in Houston on Sunday afternoon.
Playing at the Astros’ home stadium, Minute Maid Park, the Vols hold an 8-0 lead in the seventh inning of the game against the Sooners.
One of the biggest plays of the game came in the third inning, when Moore stepped to the plate and smacked a deep drive into center field. After the center fielder misplayed the ball, Moore was off to the races, finishing off the inside-the-park home run:

Per the Vols’ Twitter account, that was the team’s first inside-the-park home run in more than 2 years:
That's our first inside the park HR since Feb. 21, 2020 when Zach Daniels had one against Texas Tech at the Round Rock Classic in Round Rock, Texas.#GBO // #OTH // #BeatOU https://t.co/Xuk4hsbj7i

The Vols are playing some great baseball so far this year. Their only loss to this point has been to No. 1 Texas. We’ll see how long Tennessee can keep piling up the wins!
