College GameDay Week 7 joins upper echelon of weekly show in past 5 seasons
College GameDay did numbers in Week 7.
The popular pregame show’s return trip to Knoxville was only the 5th show in the past 5 seasons to top more than 2.2 million viewers. It was up 16% in viewership from 2021’s Week 7 show.
The show also totaled just south of 3 million viewers in the final hour.

And the show on the field didn’t disappoint either. It was one of the best games of the season so far, seeing the Volunteers come out o top 52-49 in front of a raucous home crowd.
