Cooper Mays tweaked his ankle earlier in Week 13’s game against Vanderbilt at Neyland Stadium Saturday afternoon.
The Vols veteran offensive lineman, who did not go through senior day activities with the rest of the seniors, is doubtful to return to Saturday’s game according to the TV broadcast.

Mays has run into several injury problems throughout his Tennessee career, problematic considering he’s one of Tennessee’s better offensive linemen.
It’s not just Mays, though. Tennessee’s offensive line is running on fumes as the regular season comes to a close. Addison Nichols has seen considerable action in Week 13 because of injuries to Mays, Javontez Spraggins, Andrej Karic and Brian Grant, all of whom are currently inactive.
The Vols are rolling despite some ragtag lineups along the offensive line. Tennessee leads Vanderbilt 24-10 with just under 3 minutes in the 2nd half.
