Cordova teammates headed to Rocky Top: Jerome Carvin, Jeremy Banks commit to Tennessee
In a major coup for Tennessee, Cordova teammates OL Jerome Carvin and RB Jeremy Banks are sticking together and will play their college football on Rocky Top.
The 6-foot-4, 330-pound Carvin is a four-star prospect and the No. 11 overall recruit from Tennessee according to 247Sports Composite Rankings. Rivals list Banks as a four-star prospect after he rushed for 1,941 yards and 32 scores last season for Cordova.
The two announced their intentions to play for Tennessee during a signing ceremony Wednesday at Cordova high school. Banks declared his intentions by ripping off his top layer shirt to reveal a Tennessee shirt underneath. The two posed for pictures following their declarations.
Signing day is a success! Thank you for your support.

Jeremy Pruitt and his staff had to sweat out these two prospects as both were receiving attention from the likes of Auburn, Florida, Mississippi State for Carvin and Nebraska and UCLA for Banks. Both players have been selected to compete in the Offense-Defense All-American Bowl. Carvin is expected to be an early enrollee, while Banks will arrive in the summer.
Tennessee now has 13 total public commitments in the 2018 recruiting class.
