One of the most anticipated SEC matchups of the season takes place this weekend as Tennessee travels to Florida, looking for its first win in the Swamp since 2003.

While Tennessee is favored in the matchup, anytime the Vols go to the Swamp, it’s bound to be a tough game. Despite Florida taking a dip the last few seasons, analyst and former coach Dan Mullen believes the Gators will put up a fight.

“Florida might not be where they were a few years ago, but they’re still Florida, they’re still going to be a good team, it’s still the Swamp on a Saturday night in a huge game,” Mullen said on the Matt Barrie Show Wednesday.

If Florida can bring down the Vols, it would be Billy Napiers first signature win since taking over at Florida.

“For Florida on the flip end in the Billy Napier era, they’re still waiting I think for that first marquee win,” Mullen said. “This would certainly be it for them and would be a great challenge for them.”

Mullen is leaning towards taking the Vols, however. Mullen has liked what he’s seen from the Vols and fully anticipates them to win in the matchup.

“I’m going Tennessee,” Mullen said. ““I’m still on the Tennessee bandwagon until they get me off. Josh Heupel, the offense has looked good. Joe Milton can make all the plays and I trust Josh Heupel honestly to put him in positions to succeed. We’ve seen little things that you pause on him at times. Certainly not his talent but I think Josh Heupel does a good job of keeping where the offense is going and keeping it in his wheelhouse and easy for him.”

The Vols and Gators kickoff at 7 p.m. ET Saturday night.
