Derrick Henry is an Alabama Crimson Tide alum through and through, but he can recognize talent when he sees it.

And the Tennessee Titans RB sees it in Tennessee Volunteers QB Joe Milton III, who is slated to take over the QB1 role on Rocky Top after Hendon Hooker’s departure.

During a podcast appearance this week, Henry had praise for Milton, who is a big guy with a cannon for a right arm:

“He’s going back to Tennessee?” Henry asks. “Oh, he’s nice, bro. … He’s a big dude!”

Milton was a star in the Orange Bowl win over Clemson this postseason. Can he become a consistent star in 2023? The Vols’ season will depend on it. Fortunately, Henry sees a rising talent in Milton.
