A flyover of Neyland Stadium on Saturday revealed a breathtaking view.

Before the Tennessee Vols took on the Vanderbilt Commodores, a couple of helicopters did a flyover of the stadium. You can see a packed house with orange and white dotted all around with a backdrop of the mountains and East Tennessee’s gorgeous landscape.

Tennessee Athletics’ official account shared the awesome video on social media. Downtown Knoxville and the Tennessee campus can be seen in the background.

Pretty much everything went right for the Vols on the field Saturday. The Vols had a 31-10 lead over their in-state rivals by halftime. In the 2nd half the Vols added 17 more points and ended up winning the game by a score of 48-24. The Vols have now won 5 consecutive games in the series.

Joe Milton III had arguably his best performance as a college QB on Senior Day. The 6th-year QB threw for 383 passing yards and 4 passing touchdowns. Milton also added 2 rushing touchdowns to his incredible day.

The Vols finished the 2023 regular season with 8 wins and 4 losses. The team will not be competing for the SEC Championship or the College Football Playoff, but will qualify for a bowl once again.

The Commodores end their season with a 2-10 record.
