Former Tennessee DL John Mincey entered the NCAA transfer portal after the conclusion of the 2020 season.
Now, it appears he’s going to reunite with a former Tennessee coach for the 2021 campaign.
As you can see below, Mincey took to Twitter on Tuesday night to reveal he had committed to Butch Jones and the Arkansas State Red Wolves:

Jones was fired by Tennessee late in the 2017 season, so he never actually coached Mincey on Rocky Top, as Mincey was a true freshman in 2018. But, Jones was heavily involved in Mincey’s recruitment to Tennessee.
Mincey has played mostly as a backup during his career. Last season, he totaled 8 tackles, including .5 tackles for a loss.
