Saturday wasn’t a good day for the Tennessee brand.

Not only is Tennessee getting negative feedback from its current commitments, it’s even getting slammed by guys who committed elsewhere.

The Volunteers lost 15-9 in an ugly, field goal-filled game at home against South Carolina on Saturday. They haven’t scored a touchdown since Sept. 23 against UMass.

Tykee Ogle-Kellogg, a UTSA Roadrunners commit, said he tried to commit to UT at one point, but Vols’ head coach Butch Jones wouldn’t let him.

Now, he sees that as a positive thing.

Ogle-Kellogg is a 3-star prospect in the class of 2018, according to the 247 Sports Composite. He’s from Alcoa, Tenn., which is essentially a suburb of Knoxville.

In August, Ogle-Kellogg was cut loose from the Alcoa football program.
