Out of Marietta (Georgia) High School, Bailey was rated 4-stars, the No. 3 pro-style quarterback and No. 99 prospect overall in the Class of 2020 on the 247Sports Composite. Bailey picked up 22 scholarship offers, signing with Jeremy Pruitt and Tennessee.
As a freshman, Bailey played in 6 games for the Volunteers during the 2020 season. He was 48-of-68 passing for 578 yards, 4 touchdowns and 2 interceptions.
Josh Heupel was hired by Tennessee ahead of the 2021 season and turned to the transfer portal at quarterback. As a result, Bailey played in just 1 game of the 2021 season.
Bailey entered the transfer portal in 2021 and landed at UNLV for the 2022 season. With the Rebels, Bailey made 6 appearances, going 30-of-58 passing for 218 yards, 2 touchdowns and 1 interception.
As a transfer, Bailey was rated 3-stars and the No. 52 QB by 247Sports. The 2020 season does not count against his eligibility and he was able to redshirt in 2021. We’ll see if he can put it together in Louisville playing for Jeff Brohm.
Good luck, young man.
broughm is a pretty good qb coach I think. he was a square peg in a round hole in heups system. maybe the cards will get something out of him.
Brohm is an amazing offensive mind and Bailey wasn’t a square peg at TN. He was the most accurate passers of the tree. He’s the exact style of QB Milton and Nico are. But I get it, considering the investigation by the NCAA and Bailey is a JP player, it surely was convenient ,”he wasn’t a fit for our system” LOL. He was also listed by more than one sports media as a 5 star coming out of HS and broke some state records while in HS. This talent doesn’t stay away from major power 5’s for very long. Could Brohm and Bailey go out there and hang 40 on Clemson? Yes. The cards have loaded up from the portal as well. I know Fuzzy, it’s easy to believe the narrative but believe Heupel had little interest in keeping him not because of talent or play but University first. Be a bad look to have a starting QB from the JP era. Who knows, someone might have bought him a cheeseburger on an unofficial visit. Brohm doesn’t run an offense that different from Heupel’s system. He’s up there with Freeze and Heupel when it comes to offense and what he runs.
I am making over $15k a month working online. I kept seeing how some people are able to earn a lot of money online, so I decided to look into it. I had luck to stumble upon something that totally changed my life. After 2 months of vf-03 searching, last month I received a paycheck for $15,397 for just working on the laptop for a few hours weekly.

I told you this guy wasn’t done with power 5 football, or at least a major conference. Say what you want but it didn’t behoove TN to keep Bailey. Not with the NCAA stuff going on but he was the most accurate passer of Hooker, Milton and Bailey. Don’t get it twisted, it worked out for us that he left. But he was always a fit for the Tempo Spread. Brohm runs something similar and him going there is Brohm’s team is part of that. It’s a great opportunity for him. He’s closer to home and Bailey TN fans can catch a few games in Louisville to see him. From grade school to TN, he gave his all for TN.
