The USC Trojans are having a horrible season by their standards, currently sitting at 4-4 and coming off of back-to-back losses to Arizona State and Utah.

Now, head coach Clay Helton has made some changes, starting with taking over play-calling duties.

According to the report from USC, former Tennessee QB Tee Martin will no longer call the plays, but will remain on staff as the offensive coordinator:

Helton said that Tee Martin will remain as offensive coordinator, assisting with the weekly organization of the practice and game plan and assisting on game days as Helton calls plays.  Martin also will continue as the wide receivers coach and in his recruiting role.  He is in his seventh year at USC coaching the wide receivers and his third as offensive coordinator.

Martin was linked to the open Tennessee job this offseason, but that obviously went to Jeremy Pruitt instead.

Will Martin remain at USC past this season? It’s not looking good at the moment.
