Gabe Jeudy-Lally is leaving Knoxville after one season at Tennessee.

The Volunteer defensive back took to social media Tuesday to announce his decision to enter the 2024 NFL Draft. Jeudy-Lally reflected on his college football journey that included 3 stops.

Jeudy-Lally began his career at Vanderbilt, spending his first 3 seasons with the Commodores. He joined BYU in 2022 and then landed on Rocky Top as a graduate transfer for Josh Heupel’s squad in 2023.

In his season with the Vols, Jeudy-Lally made 12 appearances, recording 36 total tackles with 4 TFLs and 1 sack to go along with 5 passes defended, including 1 interception. The NCAA’s COVID-19 waiver for 2020 presented Jeudy-Lally with the option to return for a sixth season.

Jeudy-Lally shared his appreciation for Vols fans in his lengthy farewell note.

“To the BEST fan base in the country! Thank you for all the support, cheers, and soldout stadium all year,” Jeudy-Lally wrote. “Choosing to come to Tennessee has genuinely been a blessing and one of the best decisions I have made in my life. I wouldn’t have my journey end in any other way. Though this might be the end of this current journey with all of you, know it’s GBO til I die!

“With all this said, I am excited to announce I will be foregoing my final year of eligibility and declaring for the 2024 NFL Draft. Thank you!

“#1 signing off! Love, GJL”
