Grant Williams had a chance to give the Boston Celtics a win over the Cleveland Cavaliers Monday, sitting at the free throw line with a tie game. Williams, who is shooting 82% from the line this year, missed both, Boston went to OT and the Cavaliers walked away winners, 118-114.

That’s rough for Williams. What’s even worse is that he told Cavs guard Donovan Mitchell that he was making both free throws before stepping to the line.

Social media let the former Tennessee hoops star have it following his blunder Monday night. With the loss, the Celtics fall to 45-21 on the season and 1 game further back from the Bucks at the top of the Eastern conference.
