Tennessee standout Henry To’o To’o figures to be one of the most-recruited players in the NCAA transfer portal. According to a report by Chris Hummer of 247Sports, four schools are already in the mix, including two of UT’s biggest rivals.

Hummer reports that, “Alabama, Michigan, USC and Georgia are all in the mix to land the former top 50 recruit.” Of those four, UGA is the only program that did not recruit To’o To’o out of high school in the class of 2019.

Hummer’s report did not mention Florida, another Tennessee rival linked to To’o To’o. Corey Bender of Rivals’ Gator Territory reported that UF is “expected to make a strong push for the star sophomore linebacker.” At this time, To’o To’o follows 532 accounts on Twitter. Florida linebackers coach Christian Robinson was the 531st follow, with Oregon head coach Mario Cristobal now the most-recent follow.

To’o To’o entered the transfer portal five days after it was reported by Austin Price and Brent Hubbs of Rivals’ Volquest that then-Tennessee head coach Jeremy Pruitt and staffers Derrick Ansley, Kevin Steele and Kevin Simon flew to California to meet with To’o To’o in hopes of keeping him from leaving the program.

A native of Concord, California, and product of De La Salle, To’o To’o was the No. 44 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2019 on the 247Sports Composite. He signed with Tennessee over 18 other scholarship offers, including Alabama, Florida, Ole Miss and Texas A&M.

To’o To’o led the Vols with 76 tackles and 10 tackles for loss as a sophomore in 2020. In two seasons, he has played in 23 games, making 22 starts. In 2019, To’o To’o earned Freshman All-American honors.
