The Tennessee Volunteers hosted Georgia State on Saturday afternoon in a game many thought would be an easy win for the Vols.

Instead, it was a 38-30 victory for Georgia State, who won at Neyland Stadium — the program’s first win over a Power 5 school.

For the privilege of losing to Georgia State, the Vols also had to shell out $950,000 to the Panthers — more than their head coach’s yearly salary:

Overall, it was bad day for the Vols, who are now 0-1 and face a lot of questions heading into Week 2 against BYU.
