Three-star defensive back Chris Bell (Hendersonville, Tenn. / Pope John Paul II HS) has committed to Tennessee.
Per Bell’s Twitter account, here’s what the Tennessee DB prospect had to say while announcing his decision:
Per the 247Sports Composite, Bell (6-foot-3, 190 pounds) is the No. 150 safety in the 2017 recruiting class and a top-60 prospect from the state. He does not have a listed offer from the Vols and therefore will serve as a preferred walk-on, picking them over scholarship offers from Miami (Oh.) and South Carolina, along with a list of FCS schools.
Tennessee’s 2017 class ranks 10th nationally and 6th in the SEC.
