Iowa players deny trash talking Tennessee, refuting Admiral Schofield’s claims

After Tennessee picked up a win over Colgate to start their NCAA Tournament run on Friday, Admiral Schofield said Iowa players were doing some trash-talking in the tunnel.
Iowa was fresh off a win over Tennessee, so the Hawkeyes were understandably feeling good about themselves, but would they actually trash talk the Vols?
According to several players, they weren’t saying anything toward Tennessee, but think their postgame celebrations may have been taken the wrong way:
I spoke with several Iowa players, and all of them said there was no way they ran their mouths at Tennessee in the tunnel yesterday. Couple of them said they were just celebrating with each other, and that it could have been taken the wrong way.

Whatever the case may be, the Vols are now upset, and that should lead to quite a game on Sunday when the two teams face off with a chance to go to the Sweet 16.
The bear has been poked, and now we’ll see what happens on the court.
