Jalin Hyatt has made his first career NFL touchdown catch with the New York Giants in Arizona to face the Cardinals.

Hyatt was a 3rd-round pick by New York in the 2023 NFL Draft out of Tennessee and is looking to carve out an early role for himself in the Giants’ offense. However, he was targeted just once during the Giants’ 40-0 loss to the Dallas Cowboys during Week 1.

Week 2 hasn’t gone much better for the Giants as they found themselves in a 20-0 hole against the Cardinals heading into the 3rd quarter. But they finally scored their 1st points of the season on a drive set up by a 58-yard Daniel Jones pass to Hyatt on the 2nd half’s opening play from scrimmage, which you can see below:

There’s still time for Jones, Hyatt, and the Giants to climb back into this one after a slow start. They’ll need to pick up the pace if they’re to avoid a 0-2 start to the season after a 9-7-1 record and a playoff appearance in 2022.
