Jalin Hyatt burst onto the scene for the Tennessee Volunteers in 2022.

Here were his numbers in 2020 and 2021, his first 2 years on Rocky Top:

  • 2020: 8 games, 20 catches, 276 yards, 2 touchdowns
  • 2021: 9 games, 21 catches, 226 yards, 2 touchdowns

Here are his numbers from an incredible 2022 campaign, during which he did enough to win the Biletnikoff Award:

  • 2022: 12 games, 67 catches, 1,267 yards, 15 touchdowns

As the Vols prepare for the Orange Bowl, Hyatt took to Twitter to reveal he was going to opt out of the bowl game (though he’d still attend to support his teammates) and declare for the 2023 NFL Draft:

Hyatt’s draft stock has obviously improved greatly this season. Now, we’ll see if he can continue his meteoric rise during the NFL Combine and Pro Days.

Tennessee will take on Clemson in the Orange Bowl on Friday, Dec. 30, at 8 p.m. Eastern time on ESPN.
