James Robinson, former Tennessee lineman, announces transfer destination
James Robinson was one of a handful of Tennessee players to enter the NCAA transfer portal this offseason. Now, he has reached a decision on his future.
After coming to Knoxville as part of the Vols’ 2020 class as a 3-star guard out of Montgomery, Alabama, Robinson is transferring closer to home.

In 2 years on Rocky Top, Robinson didn’t play in 2020 due to the pandemic and only appeared in 1 game during the 2021 campaign.
South Alabama is a member of the Sun Belt Conference and finished the 2021 season with a 5-7 overall record.
