Jauan Jennings on what being a Vol means to him: 'I love it, I wouldn't trade it for anything'
It’s hard to measure just how important the leadership senior receiver Jauan Jennings provides to Tennessee.
According to Jeremy Pruitt, what you see is what you get from Jennings.
“Jauan has passion for the game, he has passion for his teammates, he has passion for the University of Tennessee, he shows it every day,” Pruitt said following Tennessee’s 41-21 win over the Gamecocks.
“(Jauan) is consistent in the way he prepares, the way he practices and I think that’s contagious.”
The senior had his best performance of the season on Saturday, catching seven passes for 174 yards and two touchdowns and with Brian Maurer out for the game and Jarrett Guaratano getting hurt during in the contest, Jennings had to take some snaps at quarterback, too.
Following the game, Jennings poured his heart out when asked about what Tennessee’s latest win means to him.
"It means a lot. This team, we go in every day and prepare for Saturdays."

That dude has to be in the All time great category at Tennessee. He plays so hard even when things are going bad. He never lets up. I don’t think I have ever seen him go out of bounds on his own. He is always trying to get more yards. He is the ultimate competitor.
He was in full Beast Mode today.
If we keep getting guys like him, we will get back in the mix.
Should be second rounder(at least) in next draft
Hed have to have a huge combine for that to happen.
He will go down as my favorite Vol of all time.
“It’s great to see all these people out here getting disappointed. I love it,” RBAY Coach Muschump! How ya like dem apples?
Lol you held that in for 5 years?
As happy as I am for the UT program and fans after this win, I’m far happier to see that Jauan Jennings has taken his life lessons (suspension and dismissal) to heart and grown as a player, teammate and man. In my mind, those are the best things he will take with him from his time in Knoxville.
Thank you Jauan Jennings!
This young man is so special! He work ethic, attitude, and likeability! After getting off the field, he is always coaching up and talking up the players (both sides of the ball) on the sidelines. Ever since he caught the up for grabs ball against GA, he has been one of my ALL TIME FAVORITES!!! He is a true example for all!
