Jay Hardy is ready to end his college recruitment.

After taking an official visit to Knoxville over the weekend for Tennessee’s 41-21 win over South Carolina, the Chattanooga native is ready to make his decision.

The four-star prospect from McCallie School in Chattanooga announced on Monday that he will make his college decision known Wednesday, Nov. 6 at his high school. His decision will be made public at 11:15 a.m.

The 6-foot-4, 290-pound defensive lineman is down to five schools: Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Georgia Tech and Tennessee. In recent weeks, Hardy has visited Auburn, Georgia Tech and Tennessee leading up to his decision.

247Sports Composite Rankings rate Hardy as the nation’s No. 113 overall prospect in the 2020 recruiting cycle, the No. 5 strongside defensive end and the No. 5 overall recruit from Tennessee.
