Tennessee has been on an incredible run in recent weeks on the recruiting trail as Jeremy Pruitt’s Volunteer program has picked up commitments from several top 300 prospects from across the country despite the coronavirus putting a halt to all in-person recruiting and visits to campus.

While some programs may have struggled to adjust to the world of virtual recruiting, Pruitt’s Tennessee program has thrived and after landing a flurry of commitments, the program’s current recruiting class ranks No. 2 nationally and No. 1 in the SEC.

While some around the SEC have been stunned by this development, one former Alabama defender that played for Pruitt in Tuscaloosa doesn’t seem very surprised by the success of his former coach on the recruiting trail.

Check out this comment from former Alabama linebacker and current Cleveland Browns standout defender Mack Wilson after seeing all the talent Pruitt has attracted to Rocky Top as commitments in the 2021 recruiting cycle.

Volunteer fans can’t ask for a much better endorsement from a member of the Alabama program than the one Wilson just gave Pruitt.
