Joe Milton III has looked like a different quarterback against Alabama so far.

And it’s been all Vols here to start the Third Saturday in October. Tennessee leads 20-7 at the end of the first half following a great touchdown throw from Milton to TE McCallen Castles with less than 20 seconds remaining in the 2nd quarter.

Check out the Vols’ score below:

Tennessee has left some points on the board, but a dominant defensive effort and a strong outing from Milton has left those in Braynt-Denny stadium stunned thus far.

The Tide have struggled to do much with the football and Jalen Milroe has been ineffective behind an offensive line that has not been able to establish the run thus far.

Milton, however, has been fantastic. He’s completed 16 of his 22 passing attempts for 2 touchdowns and 175 passing yards. He’s added 43 rushing yards, too.

It feels like the Tide need a touchdown out of the halftime gate or the Vols could cruise here.
