John Campbell Jr. made quite the impression on Tennessee’s fanbase Saturday afternoon against Virginia.
The Miami OL transfer delivered an absolutely monster block on a Virginia defender, paving the way for one of 3 rushing touchdowns on the day from Dylan Sampson.

On Tuesday, Campbell met with media and revealed that his phone is “still blowing up” from that clip, which made its fair share of rounds on Tennessee X (formerly Twitter).
He also said he was “just trying to make a play.” We think you can check that box, big man.

Tennessee beat up on the Cavaliers, winning 49-13. The Vols faltered slightly from the late half of the first quarter into the 2nd, especially on special teams, but was able to right the ship quickly against an overmatched opponent.
The Vols are back in action this Saturday as they take on Austin Peay at 5 p.m. ET on ESPN+.
