Josh Heupel talks Tennessee's injury issues, his bye week Saturday plans
Tennessee has a bye this week and it has come at a good time, as the Volunteers have been ravished by injuries all season.
On Wednesday, Tennessee coach Josh Heupel met with the media and discussed his team’s health status.
“This is the thinnest team I’ve ever been a part of as a player or coach, but nobody’s gonna put an asterisk next to this season,” Heupel said. “You’ve got to be good enough on Saturdays. You’re either good enough or you’re not.”

Heupel added that his team took the first couple of days of the week off to get some rest and that the plan is to get some of the younger players more work this week.
As for how he’s going to spend his Saturday without a game to coach, Heupel said his time would be focused on family.
“I’m gonna see my family… play outside with my son… and then my daughter and I will cuddle up and watch some football,” Heupel said.
