The thrill of victory or the bitter taste of defeat. Those are the two sides of March Madness, and losing a tough game can bring out the emotions in everyone involved.

On Saturday, it was Tennesse that had the unfortunate distinction of winding up on the losing side against Michigan. Despite holding a 6-point lead and all the momentum late in the second half, the Vols ended the game on a miserable skid and were bounced out of the  NCAA Tournament.

After the game, Tennesse’s Kennedy Chandler was visibly emotional. Michigan head coach Juwan Howard did his best to encourage and console Chandler during the post-game handshake line, and it led to an awesome moment between the two.

Chandler certainly left it all on the line against the Wolverines. He finished with a team-high 19 points and 9 assists but it was Tennessee’s disastrous 2-for-18 effort from 3-point range that doomed the Volunteers.
