Tennessee QB signee Kaidon Salter throws game-winning touchdown during playoff game
It looks like Tennessee is getting a good one in Kaidon Salter.
If you don’t keep up with high school recruiting, Tennessee signed the 6-foot-1, 185-pound Salter during the Early Signing Period in December.
He’s rated as a four-star prospect and the No. 6 dual-threat quarterback prospect in the 2021 recruiting cycle by 247Sports Composite Rankings.
The four-star signal-caller from Cedar Hill High School in Texas just led his team to an overtime win during the quarterfinals of the Texas state high school playoffs on Saturday by beating Rockwall Heath.
Even better for Tennessee, Cedar Hill’s win came on a Salter pass in overtime.
With this win, Salter’s Cedar Hill team will advance to the state semifinals to play Denton Guyer, which is led by Texas A&M QB signee, Eli Stowers.
Before the Cedar Hill game went into overtime, Salter attempted a Hail Mary pass that was on the money but was dropped:

Given another shot, Salter connected with his receiver in overtime to win the game.
