Kedon Slovis left Pitt’s top 25 clash against Tennessee with an undisclosed injury entering halftime. He stayed in the locker room as backup quarterback Nick Patti jogged onto the field to take over.

And according to Rocky Top Insider, Pitt’s starting signal caller is not expected to return.

Slovis had thrown for 195 yards on 14 of 24 completions in the first half, connecting for 1 touchdown. He hit tight end Gavin Bartholomew for Pitt’s second touchdown of the afternoon.

The Vols lead the Panthers 24-17 at the start of the third quarter. The Panthers have not looked like the same team that started this game offensively.
