LOOK: Former Tennessee QB Casey Clausen causes stir after appearing to wear Alabama hat

If there’s one thing Tennessee fans hate, it’s the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Therefore, when former Vol QB Casey Clausen took a photo with fellow VFL Tee Martin on Friday, many fans were surprised to see an “A” on his hat.
As you can see in the picture below, it looked a lot like the Crimson Tide logo, and that caused a bit of a stir:

However, it was a false alarm, as the hat was simply the logo of the high school Clausen attended (and currently coaches) — Bishop Alemany High School in California:

As a former Volunteer, Clausen likely realizes the resemblance to the Alabama logo, and perhaps he’s already lobbied the school to change it.
For now, though, he’ll have to be careful wearing that hat around people who are unfamiliar with his current coaching affiliation.
