LOOK: Mercedes-Benz Stadium quickly shifts gears, now ready for Tennessee-Georgia Tech
The final whistle had barely sounded after Alabama’s 24-7 victory over Florida State on Saturday night when the Mercedes-Benz Stadium crew got to work changing the field.
Now, the turf is ready for Monday night’s Georgia Tech-Tennessee game in plenty of time, with both schools set to have walk-throughs on the field on Sunday.
As you can see in the photo below, it didn’t take long for the grounds crew to get the field prepared for Monday night’s action:

Tennessee fans will be a bit disappointed that the end zone isn’t in a checkerboard pattern like at Neyland Stadium, but they’re mostly just excited to see the Vols in action again finally.
Monday night’s game is set to kick off at 8 p.m. Eastern time and can be seen on ESPN.
