LOOK: Tennessee fans mock Arizona Cardinals for adopting an infamous Butch Jones catchphrase

Former Tennessee coach Butch Jones was routinely mocked for his cliche catchphrases, such as “Champions of Life,” “Brick by Brick” and bringing a trash can onto the sidelines.

Now, the Arizona Cardinals are adopting the “Brick by Brick” phrase, and the reaction to them on Twitter has not been kind.

As you can see below, the Cardinals tweeted that each player had received a brick with their name on it when they arrived for training camp:

Needless to say, Tennessee fans jumped at the chance to mock the Cardinals for the phrase, as you can see in the replies below:

Arizona may want to quickly and quietly scrub this from team history, and other teams in all sports should let this serve as a lesson — don’t follow in Butch Jones’s footsteps.
