Newest Tennessee commit trolled Alabama before picking Vols

Nashville, Tennessee, native William Griffin-Parker committed to Tennessee over Alabama Friday afternoon, but not before he trolled the Crimson Tide.
CBS Sports had the commitment live, and he first picked up the Alabama hat that drew some cheers from his family. He then turned the tables and committed to the in-state Volunteers.

“At the end point, it was more about the relationship with the coaches,” Griffin-Parker said of his decision.
The talented lineman became the Vols’ 26th commitment for the class of 2021. Griffin-Parker was down to the 2 SEC schools before finally opting to commit to Tennessee. The 6-foot-5, 325-pound 3-star offensive lineman is ranked as the nation’s No. 34 offensive tackle, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.
