Tennessee fans in Atlanta looking to take in pre-game festivities before the game against Georgia Tech will have to get by without a Vol Walk. The team will instead be dropped off outside the locker room.
The athletics department announced the change as it listed other events surrounding Monday night’s game in Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Among them, from 5:45 p.m. to 6 p.m., the Pride of the Southland Marching Band will lead a brief Tennessee pep rally.
The athletics department and UT Knoxville Office of Alumni Affairs Big Orange Tailgate Tour will host a “Big Orange Caravan: Gameday Edition” event. The festivities are set for the Georgia World Congress Center (Halls C1 & C2) from 3-7 p.m.. Admission is free for children age 5 and younger as well as anyone with a game ticket for the Tennessee-Georgia Tech, set for 8 p.m. on ESPN. Admission for adults without a game ticket is $15 at the door.
