Omari Thomas has been an important piece for Tennessee since he first started seeing legitimate playing time in 2021, Josh Heupel’s first season with the program.

Thomas, a senior, still has one season of eligibility remaining thanks to the Covid-19 waiver for all college DI athletes.

On Monday Thomas commented on the question plenty around Knoxville will be asking a few Vols this offseason. But Tennessee fans will have to wait a bit longer to get an answer out of Thomas.

He told reporters that he still isn’t sure about his future with Tennessee and that he’s not ruling anything out.

Thomas is up to 21 tackles this season with 1 sack. He’s part of a defensive line that has played well against the run this season.

While he was at it, Thomas spoke for a few more Vols who could return in 2023:

The Vols and Vanderbilt Commodores kick off the final game of the regular season Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET on SEC Network.
