Everyone is officially on Butch Jones watch.

The end is certainly near for the Vols’ head coach following the 45-7 loss to Alabama, but it’s uncertain if Tennessee AD John Currie will elect to fire Jones during the season or wait a little longer.

Paul Finebaum and Booger McFarland can’t imagine the Vols letting this play out any further. The two hopped on SportsCenter Sunday morning to discuss Jones.

“It’s 8:17 a.m. and Butch Jones is still the football coach,” Finebaum said. “I can’t understand it. I wouldn’t have let him get on the plane last night. I can’t imagine this university to allow this to go on any longer.”

McFarland is in agreement with Finebaum.

“If you watch this Tennessee program, it’s a prideful program … What are they waiting on? Go ahead and put the man out of his misery.”

Will Jones make it to Saturday’s game against Kentucky?

All eyes are on Knoxville.
