Peyton Manning and Dolly Parton are East Tennessee royalty.

And Tennessee made sure to pull out all the shots for the Vols’ penultimate game of the regular season against No. 1 Georgia. Tennessee set up a small stage in the south end zone and Manning escorted Parton out to the roar of the crowd at Neyland Stadium.

Parton then sang Rocky Top with the Tennessee crowd. Here’s a look at the scene:

Folks, it doesn’t get more East Tennessee than that.

Tennessee is in a tight one with Georgia and has played well thus far, trailing by just 3 with over 10 minutes remaining in the first quarter. The Vols scored on the first play of the game but have failed to move the ball downfield since against a stout Georgia defense that has adjusted well.
