It’s tough to find something that all SEC fans can agree upon, but how awesome it is to watch a retired SEC coach dominate a sanctioned golf cart race might just be one of them.

Former Tennessee coach Phillip Fulmer took part in a golf cart race with former Virginia Tech running back Kevin Jones as a part of a promotion for the upcoming “Battle at Bristol” game between the two programs that will take place in September.

Given that the game will be played at a race track, it makes sense that racing golf carts would be part of the event, which was hosted at The Virginian Golf Club.

Watch as Fulmer expertly passes Jones, blocks him from returning the favor and then gives a celebratory fist pump as he takes the checkered flag.

We have multiple angles:

Trophies are for winners, and Fulmer was a winner on Monday:

We hope this catches on as a regular pastime for retired SEC coaches. We’d love to see Steve Spurrier challenge Fulmer, you know, just for old time’s sake.
