Tennessee wide receiver Josh Malone is trying to restore the glory of “Wide Receiver U.”
The junior leads the Vols with 13 receptions, 287 yards and five touchdowns, scoring at least one in every game this season. The Gallatin native added four receptions for 91 yards and a touchdown to his season totals during Saturday’s 38-28 win over Florida, including a 42-yard score in the fourth quarter.

Despite Malone’s individual success, Tennessee entered the game ranked 12th in passing offense among SEC teams and averaged just 162 yards per game.
Hopefully for the Vols, Saturday’s game was the precursor to the revitalization of its passing attack.
