Quart’e Sapp may not have been selected in the 2019 NFL Draft but it turns out he will have his shot to make an NFL roster this training camp — and it turns out he’ll be doing it close to his college home.

Monday morning, the Tennessee Titans announced they have agreed to a contract with the free agent linebacker. Sapp participated in the team’s rookie minicamp back in May. Sapp joins his former Volunteer team, LaTroy Lewis, as a member of the Titans.

Sapp left Tennessee early for the NFL following the conclusion of the 2018 season after appearing in 27 games on Rocky Top. The linebacker finished his career with 108 stops, seven tackles for loss and two pass deflections.
