Tennessee and head coach Jeremy Pruitt appeared to be making moves on Friday night.

FootballScoop reported that, according to its sources, Florida director of player personnel Drew Hughes has accepted the same position at Tennessee.

“Well before his time at Florida, Hughes worked at Alabama as a recruiting specialist when Jeremy Pruitt was serving as director of player development,” the report said.

Hughes had been at Florida since 2013, and he was in charge of all aspects of recruiting.

He oversaw recruiting operations at NC State prior to his stint in Gainesville. Before that, he oversaw operations at UCF.

Earlier on Friday evening, FootballScoop reported that Tennessee was set to hire Houston Texans strength and conditioning coach Craig Fitzgerald.
