It was only a matter of time before Peyton Manning ended up on a TV show.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the former NFL quarterback will guest star in a January episode of the ABC sitcom Modern Family. Manning will play a sports tutor who reportedly ends up getting too involved in the main characters’ home life.
The two-time Super Bowl champion has been on TV before, most notably as himself on “The Simpsons” and as a host of “Saturday Night Live.” Manning, a former Tennessee quarterback, has also appeared in extensive advertising campaigns for Papa John’s pizza.
If he can act half as well as he played quarterback, Manning might be in line for a full-time gig.
