The Tennessee Volunteers are losing starters Admiral Schofield and Kyle Alexander ahead of the 2019-20 season.

There’s a good chance they’ll also lose two-time SEC Player of the Year Grant Williams and maybe even talented PG Jordan Bone.

Now, according to AL.com’s Matt Zenitz, the Vols could also be losing rising junior F Derrick Walker, who is now in the NCAA transfer portal:

Walker has played in 64 games over the past two years, making zero starts and averaging 7.2 minutes per game. He averaged 1.4 points and 1.7 rebounds per contest.

This doesn’t mean he’s leaving for sure, but other schools are free to contact him now. With a few spots potentially coming open in Knoxville this offseason, though, this is an interesting decision by Walker.
