Tennessee suffered some bad news Monday on the injury front.

Per a report from 247Sports, starting OL Jack Jones underwent surgery to repair torn ligaments in his thumb. The sophomore guard managed to play the entire game versus Alabama with the injury.

A starter in the last five games, Jones has helped to give UT some much-needed stability up front. The plan is for Jones to heavily wrap his hand — and potentially appear in Tennessee’s next game.
