Despite being the professional squad in Nashville, it appears as if the Tennessee Titans aren’t the flagship school within the state.

According to a report from The Tennesseean, there’s been three games this in which Tennessee Volunteers game have gotten higher ratings than Titans’ games within the greater Nashville area.

The latest game this past weekend — where the Vols’ contest versus Texas A&M had roughly 30,000 more Nashville residents tune in when compared to the Titans’ victory over the Miami Dolphins.

This shouldn’t be much of a surprise when looking at their respective success levels. The Titans are sitting currently at 2-3 — whilst the Volunteers are the No. 9 team in the country (with a 5-1 record).
