Heading into the 2020 season, there were rumblings out of New Orleans that star RB Alvin Kamara had missed practices amid a contract dispute.
Though Kamara denied those rumors, the former Tennessee star did apparently reach a new agreement with the Saints ahead of Week 1.
Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter and Pro Football Talk, Kamara will sign a 5-year extension worth $75 million:

Kamara is a do-it-all runner and pass catcher for the Saints. In 2019, he appeared in 14 games and was hampered by injuries, but he still ran for 797 yards and 5 touchdowns and added 533 yards and 1 touchdown as a receiver.
How will he fare in 2020? We’ll find out starting Sunday when the Saints play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
