Rick Barnes and Tennessee are getting ready for an important matchup against Duke.

In the first round of the NCAA Tournament, Tennessee held off an upset from Louisiana in a 58-55 win. That win set up a showdown between Tennessee and Duke in the second round on Saturday.

In a press conference that followed Thursday’s win, Barnes discussed Saturday’s upcoming game vs. Duke:

“Well, listen — and I really haven’t seen them a lot this year. I haven’t. But I know that they’re probably as hot as any basketball team in the country. I did, while we were at dinner the other night, Jim Boeheim was on with Tony Kornheiser, and they were talking about that he thought Duke was the team that was going to win the National Championship. So that tells you a lot about them, that he would say that at this point in time.”

Barnes will need to defeat a team that is a key pick to win a national championship. In the all-time series between the Volunteers and the Blue Devils, Duke holds an 8-7 lead. Barnes, who faced Duke when he was Texas’ head coach, lost to the Blue Devils in the 2009 NCAA Tournament.

Tennessee will look to eliminate Duke on Saturday at 2:40 p.m. ET.
