Georgia handed Tennessee its lone defeat of the season. However, CBS analyst Rick Neuheisel believes Tennessee would repay the favor if there’s a rematch in the College Football Playoff.

The former coach isn’t diminishing Georgia’s 27-13 victory but thinks Tennessee will fare better on a neutral field.

“I will be picking Tennessee to win that game. I looked at the film. The film gives all sorts of opportunities for a guy over there by the name of Josh Heupel and he will have a plan that you’ll be excited about,” Neuheisel said. “Now that doesn’t mean Georgia isn’t fantastic. But they had a home crowd that made it confusing.”

No. 5 Tennessee emphatically bounced back from the defeat vs. Georgia with a 66-24 victory in its home finale vs. Missouri.

Tennessee quarterback Hendon Hooker went 25-for-35 for 3 touchdowns and no interceptions, while rushing for an extra touchdown. Jalin Hyatt caught 7 receptions, for 146 yards and a touchdown. Bru McCoy had 9 catches for 111 yards. Running back Jaylen Wright scored 2 of Tennessee’s 5 rushing touchdowns.

Meanwhile, No. 1 Georgia moved to 10-0 with a 45-19 victory at Mississippi State. Georgia will face No. 7 LSU in the SEC Championship Game on Dec. 3 (4 p.m. ET/CBS).

Next up for Tennessee is a road contest at South Carolina on Saturday (7 p.m. ET/ESPN). Georgia travels to No. 24 Kentucky (3:30 p.m. ET/CBS).
