The Tennessee Volunteers added to their 2018 recruiting class on Thursday evening, as 3-star CB Shatar McClay pledged his allegiance to the program.

McClay, a Tennessee native, announced his decision on Twitter:

McClay had also drawn interest from SEC teams like Kentucky and Texas A&M and had an offer from Indiana.

According to the 247Sports composite, McClay is the No. 104 cornerback in the class of 2018 and the No. 44 overall recruit from the state of Tennessee.

All four of Tennessee’s 2018 commits are in-state players, something coach Butch Jones and the Vols are heavily focusing on this year.
